Google Glass is not the only wearable device developed search engine giant . Google secretly planning to develop its own smartwatch after two other major players , such as Apple and Samsung began venturing into the business . It is said to have acquired Wimm Labs in order to realize the plan .
Reporting from GigaOm , Wimm Labs Google will not only provide the talent and technology to construct common smartwatch , but also adds the Android platform to be pinned to the device . Parties will purchase Google also confirmed this , but they did not disclose the transaction value .
